We are currently recruiting for the position of Executive Director for the East Hartford Chamber of Commerce, and are looking for someone who embraces challenges, can translate vision and is enthusiastic about growing a successful project!  The Executive Director for the East Hartford Chamber of Commerce reports to the President of the EHCoC Board of Directors.  It is a position of authority and independence, requiring strategic thinking and operational planning skills, experience in board relationships, business development, fiscal management and advocacy.

Candidates will have previous experience leading a nonprofit or governmental organization or division, and will be able to provide evidence of successful community organizing, revenue generation, corporate relations and employee management.

This is a leadership position with offices based in East Hartford.
